Teenager with gunshot wounds Metropolitan INDIANAPOLIS 12.01.2014
INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) – Metropolitan Police are investigating a shooting on the city’s far east side early Monday December 1, 2014 .
- Shortly before 2:15 a.m. police were called to the area of East 38th Street and North German Church Road.
- Neighbors told police they heard shots fired in the 3900 block of Candle Berry Drive.
- When they arrived police say they found a teenaged male lying in the street suffering from a gunshot wound.
- Police say the victim was awake and breathing when he was transported to IU Health Methodist Hospital.
- Investigators are still searching for clues on what led up to the shooting.
